Puerto Rico
Today was great.
Everyone was up and out by eight in the morning. Louis, our Puerto Rico distributor, took us all out on his sailboat. We sailed out to an island about an hour off the east coast. On the way there, we were lucky enough to have the company of a Bottlenose dolphin jumping and playing next to our boat.

We dropped anchor just off the island and swam to shore. I immediately went to inquire about the sailboard rentals. The guy that ran the rental shop was a skater and hooked me up with a free sailboard rental, while Pete Thomson and Mark Sperling opted for jet skies.

I flailed around on my windsurfer long enough to make it over to a nearby island. The water was warm and clear enough that you could see the reef 12 feet below. It was fun just diving off the bow of the boat and swimming back to do it again. I kept thinking how lucky I was that skateboarding had brought me to an island in the Carribean. Who would have thought?

I hooked up our friend at the rental shop with some post cards and my last T-shirt. The fun part was swimming to shore while holding the stuff above my head so it wouldn't get wet.

Back at the hotel everyone realized how sunburned they were. Pete E. got the award for lobster boy, with Tony and Sperling close behind. Aloe applied, it was off to yet another mall. This time a shop called "Locals Only" right here in San Juan. We did the autograph thing and just before I headed out to skate "our" mini ramp, I met a restaurant owner that had brought her kids to check things out. She invited us to come and eat after the demo. We were happy to oblige and everyone seemed to enjoy the wine she shared. I was most happy with the dessert crepes she brought out after dinner. I have to say, however, I've really been craving a Ben and Jerry's ice cream sundae as of late...
